Ages 18+
I help adults with anxiety and depression by using informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness.
I listen using my training, and provide targeted compassionate feedback.
I believe information can be the antidote to the experience of anxiety and depression. With this in mind, I will share my knowledge of the brain, and mindfulness when appropriate; and may suggest "homework" to further our work outside of our session.
I have worked with many people to develop therapeutic goals and move towards achieving them. Clients I have worked with in the past have experienced: less anxiety and depression; developed ways to manage and cope with emotions; and reported greater connection to themselves and others.
